Hydropolis is a science museum which tells the story of water in an engaging and interactive way. The venue is located in a former clean water tank and features 70 installations, eight interactive sections, and a gift shop.

Absolutely stunning place, it's how good museums should look like. I'm not quite interested in some of the presented topics but spent here two hours and walked down all sections two times. I really impressed by beauty and carefully thought-out details of this museum. Design resembles spaceship, great attention to the style of exhibitions and interior and as well great caring of visitors comfort. They even did soft wall near one of cinema rooms so visitors can lean on the wall with comfort! Interactive screens, games, a lot of electronic posters... it was great 2 hours of my weekend. One thing, its better to go there with 10+ years old children, I'm not sure this museum will be interesting for small. They have kids zone with nice game with fish and I saw a lot of people with 5-6 years old children. But informational part of museum seems to be more understandable and interesting for older kids.

This was very unexpected, yet very great attraction in Wroclaw!Cool idea, amazing surroundings, awesome interactive elements.Just beware that the target audience is like 10 years+. Small kids will get bored fast, since its more educational park, which is good, but for them, I can see why they get bored, and thus slightly annoy older visitors....

The expectations for this place were very high, but sort of disappointed. I'd say this place is more suitable for kids. Not much of interactive to make things more interesting. I really enjoyed the ship models and a few more things, and that is about it.Come here with kids, but make sure they are interested to visit themselves otherwise your child will keep begging you to leave.

Hydropolis in Wroclaw is a fascinating and educational experience that is well worth a visit. The museum is set in an old underground water reservoir, adding to the unique, atmospheric feel—it's almost like you're exploring the depths of the ocean! The exhibits cover a wide range of topics related to water, from the environmental impact of pollution to the wonders of hydro-engineering. While Hydropolis is particularly great for kids, with many interactive displays and activities, adults will also find plenty of intriguing information and engaging multimedia installations. There are also a few cafes on the premises, perfect for taking a break between exhibits. Overall, a great spot for both learning and fun!

Great Water muesum in Poland! It is always better to visit in the mornings, during opening hours. Later it can be traffic of people :P. We had great time with family and highly recommended for Kids and Adults :)

Good interactive but some stuff seems like it didn't work, we were expecting a bit more from this.Very friendly people, parking is a bit further and free.

Amazing to see how many angles they managed to squeeze out of the seemingly mundane subject of water. Some fabulous rooms full of interesting exhibits from weather to deep sea exploration to pollution. Some neat interactive displays too.. Pretty sure that snow's not real though 😊

Incredibly interesting place, must-go when in city. Despite average time of visit 2h, I would suggest to have around 3+, because there is A LOT to do, to read, to watch. Just amazing. However I couldn't download an app (language download took too long, no signal when in museum) it didn't spoil my visit at all. But I would recommend to take headphones and check out the app beforehand - it will make excursion even better.Submarines, ships, sea monsters, water filtering and usage, rivers and more. Captivating from the entrance (in photo). I will return when in city.

Definitely worth visiting, a lot of interesting and fascinating things to see. Nice scenic walk from the center of Wrocław, but there this always a tram which takes you directly to the road opposite from the river.Spent a solid few hours in here, a lot to see and do. Very interesting for all age groups, a lot of activities and things to do whilst here.

As alternative to city museums, this particular one is a modern museum of water. Interesting presentations with video and audio effects. Beginning from the times when water formed on the Earth to the modern water management systems of the city. Few small cinema halls with interesting mini movies. Worth to visit.

Die Preise sind sehr moderat dafür, was man hier geboten bekommt.(Translated by Google)Great, very modern, informative and varied exhibition on the subject of water, also suitable for tourists.Lots of interaction options. What is absolutely important for non-Polish speaking visitors: You need a smartphone and (!) headphones, Bluetooth is also possible and can be set in the app. The multilingual app (Polish, English, German, Ukrainian, Russian) only works with headphones! You can install the app in advance via the hydropolis.pl websiteon site and only there can you activate and use it. This will only take a while...The buildings of the Wroclaw Waterworks, on whose grounds the Hydropolis science museum is located, are also attractive, especially of course the impressive water tower. Although you cannot visit these buildings, they are very impressive with their neo-Gothic brick architecture from the 19th century.Incidentally, Hydropolis itself was built in what was once a huge underground drinking water reservoir.A visit to Wrocław should definitely include the visit. The prices are very moderate for what you get here.

Absolutely amazing modern museum, interactive yet informative, so many angles for a topic which may considered as too simple - water. I must praise the curators because in this museum you can learn a lot, be amazed, got your hands on so many displays and be your own guide. Totally recommend for families with children (right by the entrence you will see why :) ). A blast! One of the top museums I've been to.

This museum is a must-see when you're in Wroclaw. It offers a lot of interesting and valuable information about water. While the ticket is somewhat expensive, it's worth the cost, as you can easily spend the entire day exploring if you want to read all the details and fascinating facts. To cover the main attractions, you'll need to spend at least three hours, without delving into most of the additional information displayed on smaller monitors.

Very nice and informative place if you want to learn something about water and supply. The “view” into the deep sea was also very interesting and clearly presented. Just a little more English could be offered here.

Hydropolis is an interesting place to roam around and get surprised with various multimedia, interactive installations demonstrating the role of water in our life and its potential. Some of the installations are really impressive. And it goes without saying our toddler got lots of impressions!

A fascinating science museum dedicated to the theme of water. The museum is underground and much bigger than I expected. The site is extremely modern and utilises high end visual technologies for many of the exhibits. Each area has a theme such as shipwrecks, deep sea exploration, ocean pollution, shipping, rivers, sea life etc. The content was of interest to all ages.We took our time and required just under two hours to complete the museum. There's some parking on site, but not enough for the busier days. We parked at the Galeria Dominikańska, which was a 20 minute walk from the Hydropolis.

It's interesting and some parts of the exhibition are really memorable. Would definitely visit again when we happen to be in Wroclaw l.

Great idea and how it’s presented and organized- but contrary it looks that gem which someone started to build/polish was abandoned- finally after 20-30 min you are feeling bored. Buildings around (pressure tower) or other interesting places should be part of the experience. Finally you can see a lot of multimedia, old wooden pipe from Wroclaw and advertise of Netflix movie. Sorry it needs some improvements- as is it will disappear soon. My verdict don’t waste your time and money - for now

It's a very interesting museum. On the one hand, everything is quite simple. However, on the other hand, the authors have done everything well and interactively, there is a lot of multimedia content, things that can be touched, interesting for both children and their accompanying persons.

Really entertaining place to go with your family, you can learn from how water is made to how to use water. I would love to go to it one more time. I really recommend this place. Peace!
