Jerk seasoning is easy to make and has far too many fresh ingredients to resort to a jar.

This is delicious. It's easy and fast, perfect for a weekday, but I'd serve it to company too. The slaw is a particular stand-out - I doubled the recipe (which I highly recommend), and then threw in the rest of the slaw from the bag. It holds up great for leftovers.

The slaw was phenomenal. I did sub fat free mayo and packaged lime juice as well as using the full amount of the pepper, but only made 2 servings. I like it spicy! Also, instead of catfish, because of the fat content inherent in it, I subbed scallops. I actually have some real jerk seasoning from my Bajan boyfriend's mother, so the scallops were phenomenal, too! So very quick and easy. Will most definitely make this again.

Both the slaw and fish were delicious and very easy to prepare. I did add salt to the slaw. I will definitely make this again. I ate it all in two meals but am anxious to try it out on my friends.

I wasn't sure if I even liked catfish but apparently I do! This was delicious! This was an easy weeknight meal but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable serving catfish to guests. I used McCormick perfect pinch jerk seasoning and I will warn you that the house smoked up as I seared it in the grill pan so... Open a window!!! The coleslaw was the best i've had! I will make this again, but next time will increase to 1 1/2 tsp of Serrano pepper ( this time did 1 tsp seeded and ribbed)

I never tried catfish before I made this recipe, but I found out I love it! I could eat this weekly and not get tired of it. I couldn't find jerk seasoning in the store, so I googled and found one I could make up myself. I made this without cilantro one time and it was still delicious. The cool, tangy slaw goes so well on top of the hot, spicy catfish. Love this recipe!

We love this slaw. It goes great with barbeque as well. We often make fish or barbeque tacos and this is now the slaw we use. I have only made the catfish once, but it was also good and easy.

These were good flavor combinations. I thought it would be to hot w/ the fish & the slaw having heat; but it wasn't. I added baked sweet potatoes as an additional side.

Very good. I used tilapia because it was on sale. Also because the grocery store I was at didn't have jerk seasoning (and I didn't want to have to stop at the one that did) I ended up buying jerk marinade and marinating the fish for around an hour (plus my DH hates fish so I do everything I can to hide the fish flavor for him). Made some caribbean yellow rice with peas and onion using brown rice to go with it. Perfect meal and he didn't complain about it that much. Meanwhile I love fish and thought it was delicious and flavorful. The slaw had a nice little bite that went well with the fish.

Due to availability, I used tilapia and broccoli slaw, and the recipe worked beautifully. I added 1 tsp. of canola oil for the fish and squeezed some lime over it when it was almost done. I did make half the fish (only two people) but all the slaw, which was just right. Served with steamed red potatoes. This is really great, easy, and different.

This was fantastic- particularly the slaw. I don't love spicy so I used less spice in mine and it was amazing. The cilantro is very refreshing. The fish was great as well.

This is easy and a great way to cook catfish. My store did not have the jerk spice, so I had to substitute a jerk marinade, but it worked great! Also, thought the choice of peppers in the slaw might be a little too hot, so used a fresh jalapeno instead. The slaw is now one of my favorites. Will do this again! Quick, easy, delicious!

I'm frequently disappointed when I try a recipe with the word "spicy" in it. I love hot and generally what others consider spicy doesn't quite do it for me. If you make this recipe as is, you better like hot! The coleslaw is fantastic. The lime and cilantro provide a nice counterbalance to the heat from the habanero. If you don't like spice (I could never make this as is for my girlfriend), you could easily cut the amount of pepper or possibly even leave it out altogether. The catfish itself was fine but nothing special. I'll be making this slaw with other main courses this spring and summer!

I will definitely make this again - very quick and easy. But....maybe I did something wrong. We love hot and spicy food but this slaw was REALLY hot! I added more slaw and more mayo to cut the heat and loved it. I only used 1 tsp. serrano. Next time I will eliminate the seeds or maybe use jalapeno but this is a great combination of flavors.

This is easy and very tasty. My husband doesn't usually like coleslaw, but he tasted this and wants any slaw we have to use this recipe. Served with some garlic bread. Yum!

I didn't have jerk seasoning so I used salt free "fiesta lime" seasoning to compliment the lime in the slaw. A perfect, quick and flavorful meal with lots of color from the reddish seasoning on the fish and the rainbow colors from the slaw. (Which by the way is now by far my favorite slaw!)
