Can you tell us if we can use Cool Whip (commercially available whipped topping) for this or it should be heavy cream that we whip at home just before use? Can we use a low-fat version? Thanks.

Tarla Dalal    Hi BT,You can use cool whip which you get readymade and is already whipped.Otherwise you can use heavy whipped cream and whip it at home...we have a [perfect recipe of whipped cream, below is the link...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EByEh7DI3VM

Mousses are always a delight to have and specially when it is chocolate...But dates gives this a very prominent flavour..As chopped dates is added, when you eat there is a prominent flavour of dates..And also the sweetness from chocolate and crunch from walnuts makes this recipe irresistable..So if you like dates you should definitely indulge in this dessert.
